I ranked the issues based on the amount of people that would be affected. Issues that affect everyone globally are placed at the top of the list with each receding rank a little less important globally than the previous. The reason why Global Climate Change is ÿranked #1 is because the Earth would be destroyed/become uninhabitable inÿa short amount of time if this issue continues to remain unresolved.ÿAn 11th paradigm I felt wasn’t included would be the increase in life expectancy for almost every country. This would rank below #4 on my list above.ÿother student entries #2Population increase is in less developed countriesFeeding the world?s populationDisparities of wealth – – widening gap between wealthy a poorStatus of women and childrenGlobal climate changeEnergy supplies and energy demandsLoss of biodiversityPollution of air and water, oceans and landGlobalization vs. cultural diversityRace and Ethnic Conflict resolutionThe number #1 issue energy supplies and energy demands – population is increasing by the seconds and more…more energy is harness from natural resources or man made.
